The HYDRAcap® hollow ultrafiltration module is an internally pressurized membrane system that effectively removes bacteria, viruses, large-molecular-weight organic compounds, colloids, and particulate matter. It features excellent anti-fouling properties, requires minimal chemical usage, achieves high water recovery rates, and occupies a compact footprint.
The HYDRAcap® membrane module has received California Department of Health Services (DHS) certification for its effective removal of pathogenic microorganisms, achieving a 4-log or greater reduction in viruses, Cryptosporidium, and Giardia. Additionally, the HYDRAcap module is accredited by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the UK Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI).
The HYDRAcap® ultrafiltration membrane is resistant to oxidizing agents and can be chemically cleaned using high-concentration oxidants.
These advantages make HYDRAcap® hollow ultrafiltration technology the ideal choice for treating highly polluted surface water, industrial and municipal wastewater, reclaimed water reuse, high-quality drinking water production, and as a pre-treatment process for reverse osmosis systems.
